 Training Unit Activities

The Institute’s mission includes working towards instituting the principle of continuing education among health care providers, in addition to offering specific short training courses in the various disciplines of public health. Furthermore, the Institute hosts various other activities aiming at human resource development, and providing a platform for debate and discussion of important local and international community and public health issues.  Such activities include:

  • Offering short certificate and non-certificate level training courses

  • Providing continuing education schemes to alumni

  • Conducting regular community and public health seminars/lectures where both international and local experts and professionals participate in presentations and discussions

  • Disseminating ICPH research findings to the local community through periodic meetings and consultation sessions.

Participants/target groups include professionals who work in various areas of community and public health from the different governmental institutions and organizations, NGOs, as well as UNRWA and private sector providers.

Pre-registration is required for participation. If you are interested in future workshops, training, lectures please contact: icph@birzeit.edu.
