The Resource Center serves ICPH units, Birzeit University graduate and
undergraduate students, and the general health professional community. This
center contains over 7000 titles to date, with a special section on
Palestine, and nearly

scientific and semi-scientific journals specialized
in the different disciplines of Community and Public Health.
The Resource Center also offers facilities for on-line literature searches for the retrieval of abstracts as well as full text articles. On-line search includes facilitated access through HINARI, Medline, Sociological Abstracts, Popline, Social Science Index, Drug Fulltext, and others.
The Resource Center houses a computer laboratory used to train both our
students and various groups working in the Palestinian health community.
The catalogue of books and documents can be searched online through RITAJ, the Birzeit University Academic Portal http://ritaj.birzeit.edu/. For the time being, the link to the University’s library databases is in Arabic only, found in the left section of the RITAJ home page.
