Reem Ladadwa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical engineering from Smith College, USA. While in college, her research focused on using normal sound waves to separate cells based on their density, size and compressibility. She is currently working as a research assistant at the Institute of Community and Public Health at Birzeit University. Her research focus is on the human rights based approach to health in the Palestinian settler colonial context. In addition, she is part of a team researching f adolescent girls’ health in Palestinian refugee camps in Jordan and the West Bank. She is also working with another team researching disability and persons with disability in Palestine from a local legal and social perspectives.
