“Writing Academic Articles Based on Qualitative Data”

As part of the Lancet Palestinian Health Alliance (LPHA) ongoing capacity strengthening activities, the Institute of Community and Public Health (ICPH) is happy to announce holding a special training workshop on Writing academic articles based on qualitative data in health and mental health research.
The training will be conducted by Dr. Hanna Kienzler from Kings College London. It is an interactive session for research assistants and faculty involved in mixed-methods or qualitative research projects. Participants will explore the differences between qualitative vs quantitative articles and learn about how to structure and write papers based on qualitative data. Also, participants will get a better understanding of what happens once their paper is finished, submitted to a journal and finally accepted.
The training will include small exercises and it is recommended that participants bring one of their paper drafts along if they have one.
