Haneen Taweel holdsa Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics with a minor in Business Administration from Birzeit University and is currently completing her Master’s Degree in Public Health and Epidemiology. She is a research assistant at the Institute of Community and Public Health working on fruit and vegetable consumption and link to non-communicable diseases. Her research focus is on nutrition, dietary quality and dietary patterns among different community groups.
Sameera Awawda is assistant professor of Economics at the Institute of Community and Public Health (ICPH) and the Economics department, Birzeit University. Awawda holds a PhD in Economics from Aix-Marseille School of Economics, Aix Marseille University. Her research interests include economic evaluation, microeconometrics, microsimulation, and economics of inequality and wellbeing.
