Suzan Mitwalli and Lina Abdul Samad from ICPH presented on behalf of Prof Rita Giacaman in an online workshop that took place on Thursday 3 March 2022. The workshop was organized by Disability Under Siege Network. and was about innovative methods for researching disability and COVID-19 in the Global South.
The ICPH team presented in the session entitled: Researching disability in a pandemic and other crises where their presentation focused on the difficulties of conducting research in warlike conditions and pandemic on top of the political violence. They presented the opportunities and difficulties of conducting research remotely and how Palestinian researchers try to find innovative ways of completing research despite hardship.
