Dr. Niveen Abu Rmeileh has received the Excellence in Scientific Research Award for the academic year 2022-2023 from Birzeit University. Dr. Abu Rmeileh has been awarded this prize in recognition of her outstanding efforts and accomplishments in the field of research. She has demonstrated clear research excellence not only through the number of scientific publications in reputable journals but also through the quality of her publications and the significant number of citations of these publications. Dr. Abu Rmeileh is known for her involvement in diverse supported research projects, as well as her participation in numerous conferences and seminars. Among her achievements is her repeated inclusion in the Stanford-Sevier List, which comprises the top 2% of researchers with the greatest global impact.
Dr. Abu Rmeileh completed a Master's degree in Public and Community Health before pursuing her doctoral studies at the University of Glasgow in the United Kingdom. She then returned to the Institute to engage in research and teaching activities.
