The Institute of Community and Public Health faculty (Rita Giacaman, Weeam Hammoudeh and Abdullatif Husseini) are now part of a regional project entitled: Research for Health in Conflict'. The aim of this project is to strengthen research capacity in the Midde East and North Africa (MENA) region with a focus on mental health and non-communicable diseases.They attended the first Executive Board meeting on February 19th in Lebanon, where governance, work streams and plans for action over this four year project were discussed.
