The Institute of Community and Public Health, Birzeit University (ICPH/BZU) has completed a 3-day training course on the analysis of epidemiological sata using STATA (Data Analysis and Statistical Software), and introduction to scientific writing on April 30th– May 2nd, 2018. This training course was completed in collaboration with Oslo University faculty members. The training targeted young researchers and focused on how to write scientific papers and demonstrated different types of statistical tests to be used in analysis using STATA.
Twenty eight researchers participated in this training course from a variety of Palestinian institutions and organizations including: An Najah National University, Alquds University, Birzeit University, Palestinian National Institute of Public Health, Al Makassed Islamic Charitable Society Hospital, Augusta Victoria Hospital, Juzoor for Health and Social Development, and AL-Sadeel Society for Palliative Care among others. All participants received certificates of participation at the end of the training signed by Oslo University and ICPH/BZU officials.
