Sabaya Health

An interactive mobile application and website that targets women adolescents living in Arabic speaking communities and countries seeking to improve their health and healthcare access.

The app and website are one of the first Arabic-Language virtual programs specially designed to meet the needs of adolescent girls based on their own experiences and testimonies. It focuses on four main health dimensions that were identified as priority areas through a qualitative and quantitative research carried out in Palestinian refugee camps  in Jordan and the West Bank by the Institute of Community and Public health: nutrition, menstruation and puberty, personal hygiene, and mental health. The content published on the app and website includes illustrated stories and comics inspired by the fieldwork carried out in refugee camps in Jordan and West Bank, in addition to interactive games, videos, articles, live discussions, and resources.
